We recently photographed a wedding here for some good friends of ours Ryan and Peggy. The Heritage Museum was the perfect backdrop. I love the orange groves and rose garden! It is a great place to get married! View some of the photos at blogspot! sargeantphotography.blogspot ~Leanne and Paul Sargeant Sargeant Photography

Wonderful Location with Exceptional Staff

Heritage Museum is a wonderful place for a special event, especially a wedding. Ten years ago my husband and I chose the museum for our wedding location. We wanted our wedding ceremony and reception at one location. It was important for us to be outside and we absolutely loved the beauty and nostagia of the Heritage Museum. In fact, my husband recently surprised me with a 10 year anniversary celebration complete with a surprise ceremony at Heritage Museum. The exceptional help of the event coordinator and staff made our anniversary ceremony very special. I encourage anyone looking for unique and beautiful event site to check out Heritage Museum!

Hidden Venue for Events!!

I had taken my daughter's class for a field trip many years ago to this location, and it was great fun! Just recently, we were invited to a wedding here, didn't know they used this venue for events! I was pleasantly surprised by the beautiful set up with the gazebo for the actual marriage ceremony, they set up the garden for guests and there were about 200 people there! It was an evening summer wedding, so the weather was good, but turned chilly at night with no wind barriers. The reception was held directly behind the gazebo, and lots of room to move around with a great dance floor. They used the gazebo as a site for the wedding cake afterwards, and I didn't like that because we couldn't see the bride and groom cut the cake. I understand the prices were fairly reasonalbe because the couple had to pay for this event themselves and they can't afford too much. I would highly recommend this venue for an afternoon event when the weather is guaranteed to be mild!
